The annual Liguanea Art Festival is set to happen this Sunday, April 29, at the Liguanea Plaza (134 Old Hope Road, Kingston 6). Undoubtedly one of Jamaica’s premiere art festivals, it will feature fine art in painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, photography and jewellery by a long list of artists including Charl Baker, Franz Marzouca, Laura Facey, Howard Moo Young, Jeremy Francis, among others. Jamaica’s young art talent will be on display from March 8 to April 7 at the Mutual Gallery’s annual ‘Art Fresh’ exhibition. The juried exhibition is open to artists who have less than ten years experience since graduating from an art school (or since taking up art – seriously for the self-taught artists).

Featured artists include – Leon Dingwall, Raymond Graham, Robert (Toby) Grant, Vilya Thomas, Andrea Green, Kimani Beckford, Andrea Green, Krystal Dadag, Cavel Johnson, Toorel Asher, Olivia McGilchrist, Robert Joyette, Oliver Myrie, Alicia Brown.
