The painter and poet, Seya Parboosingh (née Samila Joseph), passed away recently at the age of 85, and now her family has handed more than 500 pieces of her work to local galleries for sale … more than 100 of her signed paintings will be exhibited for sale at the Island Art and Framing gallery in St Andrew … there are also plans to give the Mutual Gallery more than 450 unsigned Seya Parboosingh paintings.
